Noticed something different today

Matthew BrainMod · 3 Aug, 21:44

Had a bit of a moment this morning. I was getting ready and went to put my foot flat on the floor like I normally do, and my lower leg muscle started hurting in a way that's different from my usual symptoms. It's not excruciating or anything, but it was noticeable enough to make me stop and think about it. The thing that got me was that it felt new, you know? I'm used to my body doing certain things in certain ways, and when something unexpected happens, it does make you wonder what's going on. Is it just inflammation from something I did yesterday? Is it a shift in how my muscles are behaving? Is it something I need to pay closer attention to? All of those questions went through my head. I'm not sure yet if it's worth flagging to my physio or if it's just one of those random things, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. It's one of those weird little reminders that living with muscular dystrophy means your body can surprise you sometimes — even the small things feel worth noting. Just wondered if anyone else has had random changes like this pop up unexpectedly? I find it helpful to hear how others interpret these kinds of shifts in their own symptoms. Cheers.
